Our Mission

Since its inception in 1946, Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) has been dedicated to serving special-needs military veterans with spinal cord injury or dysfunction. Chartered by the United States Congress, PVA has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues affecting the special needs of our members. With 34 chapters and more than 60 national service offices, PVA represents over 19,000 members in the United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

Our Vision

Our vision is to enhance members’ quality of life by eliminating attitudinal, physical and legal barriers through community partnerships with groups and organizations who share the same goals.
